Binance launches regulated gold, silver options through ADGM exchange

Summary

Binance will launch USDT-settled options on gold and silver through its Abu Dhabi-regulated Nest Exchange, expanding its regulated traditional-asset offerings beyond crypto. The contracts let traders gain exposure to gold and silver price moves without taking delivery of the metals. Retail users will only be able to buy options, limiting risk to the premium paid, while eligible institutions and liquidity providers can also write options and collect premiums. The move builds on Binance’s gold and silver perpetual futures launched in January. It also adds to a broader wave of commodity-linked crypto products, alongside tokenized bullion efforts from companies like Tether and Paxos. Tokenized commodities now total about $4.56 billion in distributed value, with Tether Gold and Paxos Gold making up most of the market.
