BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for 90% of a $225 million Bitcoin ETF reversal after a seven-day buying streak
US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $225 million in net outflows on July 23, ending a seven-session inflow streak. BlackRock’s IBIT drove most of the reversal with a $202 million outflow, while the other major funds were roughly flat to modestly negative and Grayscale’s GBTC took in about $5 million. The July 23 pullback erased about 22.5% of the $999 million added during the prior seven sessions, but the full eight-session period still ended with a net inflow of about $774 million. Bitcoin also fell that day, with IBIT’s NAV down 1.63% and the benchmark around $64,768. The outflow reflects redemption activity in the ETF structure, not a direct BlackRock sell decision. Overall, the data suggest a one-day reversal rather than clear evidence that the broader ETF demand trend has ended.
