Dtcpay welcomes SBI Group as strategic investor extending Series A to $25M
Singapore payment company dtcpay completed a $25 million Series A round, initially led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India and now further anchored by Japan’s SBI Group. Genedant Capital and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek also participated. The funding signals investor confidence in dtcpay’s goal of making stablecoins as easy to use as traditional payments and of expanding cross-border money movement. Dtcpay has focused early on stablecoin payments and offers a dtcpay Visa card that supports spending with both fiat and stablecoins at more than 150 million merchant locations worldwide. The company previously launched fiat-and-crypto payment services for in-store and online use, then shifted to stablecoin-only support. Dtcpay is licensed by Singapore’s Monetary Authority and holds an Electronic Money Institution license in Luxembourg, with additional authorizations in Hong Kong, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
