Robinhood-backed DEX Arcus expands with tokenized assets, perps
Arcus, a DEX built by the dYdX team and backed by Robinhood Crypto, has launched tokenized stocks and perpetual futures on Robinhood Chain, adding to its earlier spot markets. It now offers 95+ stock tokens, perp markets, and crypto trading through a self-custodial account, with USDG used as collateral and settlement. The token lineup includes major US companies such as Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Google, and Amazon, plus perps tied to equities, ETFs, commodities, indexes, and crypto. Users can connect wallets like MetaMask, Ledger, and WalletConnect, or sign up via email/social logins through Privy. The move reflects growing competition among crypto and financial firms to build onchain infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets. Regulatory uncertainty remains a major hurdle, and Arcus excludes users in the US, Canada, the UK, and other restricted jurisdictions.
