Mantle Releases Liquid Staking Protocol, Expanding Beyond Layer-2 Operator

Mantle, an Ethereum layer-2 project, announced the launch of its new liquid-staking protocol named Mantle LSP. This launch marks the introduction of their second core product to the Mantle ecosystem. Users can now stake their Ethereum (ETH) on Mantle LSP to receive $mETH tokens, providing them the opportunity to earn yield. Jordi Alexander, Chief Alchemist at Mantle, has expressed ambitions to make Mantle the third-largest after Lido and Rocket Pool. Currently, the main Mantle Network, which was launched in July, holds over $220 million in deposits.
